Dr. Marisa Sisk

Introducing Dr. Marisa A. Sisk, M.S., Psy.D., founder of Refine Recovery and author of Refine Recovery’s unique clinical curriculum. She is a dedicated professional with a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College. Dr. Sisk’s rich training and clinical background encompass a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents with varying treatment needs rooted in acute psychopathology.

As the founder and President of First Commercial Billing Company, specializing in medical billing services for behavioral health, Dr. Sisk has demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit. Her leadership extends to roles as Executive Director and alternate directorships in Residential Treatment Facilities and intensive day treatment programs. These positions cater to individuals with multi-dimensional dual diagnosis treatment requirements.

Dr. Sisk’s expertise extends to program development, licensure, accreditation processes, and Utilization Review oversight and management. This comprehensive experience equips her with a deep understanding of clinical case presentation and conceptualization.
